Thank you for your support throughout the COVID-19 crisis. Although we are operating a full delivery service for our products, we hope you can understand that the safety and health of our staff, families and customers is our highest priority. 

All deliveries are made by our couriers - APC and DPD - both of whom are specialists in the transport of liquids, so you can be assured that your wines will reach you in the best condition. 

Chiltern Wines deliver free of charge for any orders over £150 to most addresses on the UK mainland. For deliveries under £150, to mainland UK locations, we charge a flat delivery fee of £6.99. For other UK locations, additional delivery fees may apply. 

Shipping fees are calculated, per order, by delivery postcode at check-out. 

We normally deliver within a maximum of 3-7 working days, usually much sooner, so please get in touch with us if you have a special or urgent requirement. We will do our best to help! 

You can order any quantity of wine, and spirits, from single single bottles up to any quantity, although for larger orders we recommend you call us discuss optimum delivery arrangements. 

We endeavour, where possible, to dispatch all goods ordered in the same boxes and at the same time. However, from the to time we may split orders into multiple packages and sometimes these may arrive separately.

At this time, our delivery partners are operating a "no-sign" delivery service. Goods will be left on your doorstep or other secure place (subject to courier's acceptance and conditions of carriage).

If you have special delivery instructions or would like to advise us of a safe place or neighbour to deliver to, please enter this in the order notes section at checkout. 

We will notify you when your package has been dispatched and it will generally be with you within 24 hours of this notification. At this time, we cannot be responsible for items once delivery to the property has been made.

If you are out

At this time, our delivery partners are operating a "no-sign" delivery service. Goods will be left on your doorstep or other secure place (subject to courier's acceptance and conditions of carriage). We will notify you when your package has been dispatched and it will generally be with you within 24 hours of this notification. At this time, we cannot be responsible for items once delivery to the property has been made.

Free Local Delivery & Collection

Unfortunately, Chiltern Wines is unable to offer Free Delivery and / or Collection at this time. We hope to be able to resume this service in the near future.

Deliveries outside of Mainland UK

We aim to offer the most competitive delivery to the entire UK area. Certain postcodes are classified as being outside of "UK mainland" delivery area and do not qualify for free delivery. Certain postcodes and delivery addresses are subject to additional delivery charges. Delivery is calculated at checkout, by postcode, for each order.

International Orders

For deliveries to non-UK postcodes or countries in Europe or the Rest of the World, you will be prompted at checkout to contact us by phone or email to discuss your requirements and allow us to offer the most competitive shipping solution(s). .

Returns

In the event that we deliver an order and you then decide that you would like to return it, please contact us in the first instance. You may then return it within 7 working days and we will give you a full refund within the next 7 days.

If you receive an order and the wine is out of condition or damaged, we will be happy to give you a full refund or send out a replacement. Please contact us by email or phone and we will organise a replacement or refund.

Please note, this does not apply to vintage wines or auction wines where the condition cannot be guaranteed. Some wines age more favourably than others, and, although we are fastidious in ensuring that the wines we offer for sale are of the highest quality, in certain circumstances we reserve the right to not offer a refund or replacement.

Any returned goods should be sent Recorded Delivery via the post office, and should include insurance to the value of the order.
